Welcome to the Wonderful World of Freediving!

This notice confirms that you’ve booked a RAID Master Freediver course on a date of your choosing

Please take the time to read this carefully as there are a few things you need to do before your course.

Your details:

You need to enter your details here: https://gofreediving.co.uk/bookings/ so we have them for our records and can provide you with the correct equipment on the course. You can also specify which dates you are attending on this form.

Your previous course qualification:

We accept students onto the RAID Master Freediver course that have have the following qualifications: AIDA ***, SSI Level 2, RAID Advanced Freediver. Please scan a copy of your cert card and email it back to emma@gofreediving.co.uk

Your CPR and First Aid qualification:

To complete certification for your RAID Master Freediver course you must have a CPR and First Aid qualification that was completed within the last two years. You can do this course with us and it also includes oxygen administration and Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) use.

Important documents:

The following link contains your RAID Master Freediver Course Package (click to download) – this contains more details about your course content, what to expect, where it’s taking place and recommended accommodation. Within this package (on page 9) are five important documents you need to print, sign and bring with you at the commencement of your course. They are also listed (with links) below, for your convenience:

 

Terms and Conditions – these are the terms and conditions of your course booking.

 

Medical Statement – you need to print this out, complete it and bring it with you on the course.

 

RAID Freediving Liability Release & Assumption of Risk Agreement – you need to print this out, complete it and bring it with you on the course

 

Go Freediving Instructor Liability Release – you need to print this out, complete it and bring it with you on the course.

 

RAID Declaration of Safe Diving Practices and Statement of Understanding – you need to print this out, complete it and bring it with you on the course.

 

IMPORTANT!
If you answer ‘yes’ to any of the Medical Statement questions, you’ll need to get clearance from your GP before taking the course. Make sure your GP is clear that you’re freediving and not scuba diving as there can be a difference – we’re happy to talk to your GP if necessary.

Register with RAID

Finally, you need to register with RAID and complete your course theory work. You can do this at http://freedivingraid.com/ – select Register at the top of the screen (you can find further information about this in your course package)h
PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST COMPLETE THE THEORY WORK
BEFORE THE WEEKEND OF YOUR COURSE
If you fail to complete the necessary theory work or fail the final exam, you won’t be allowed in the water on the weekend of your course (don’t worry, you’re allowed to refer to the course manual!).
