What’s Next?

Many students who complete a Try Freediving course decide they wish to learn, progress and immerse yourself further into the freediving world. So what is the next step?
The first course we offer is the RAID Freediver Course, which is the most popular course we offer. The course takes place over a weekend and leads to a first level certified qualification in freediving. You can read more about it here:
Click on the group photos at the bottom of the page to watch the course videos and read what the students really thought of their course.

Further  Courses:

Once you have completed your RAID Freediver Course, you may want to go to the next level – the RAID Advanced Freediver Course. This page tells you all about it and lists when our next courses are being held.
If you have completed your RAID Advanced Freediver Course, you may want to reach Master status and become a RAID Master Freediver! This page tells you what is required and lists when our next course is being held. However, if you are interested in taking your Master course, please let me know as this course is often demand led.

Freediving Trips and Holidays:

We regularly organise liveaboard holidays, training holidays, UK trips (such as our shark trips) and other social events. This is an amazing opportunity to practice skills and spend a whole week with like minded people. These holidays are perfect for the solo traveller or couples and groups.

Club Weekends and Club Sessions:

Did you know we have two thriving clubs in Bath and Poole?

Join us at our weekly Bath freediving club nights where we practice static and dynamic training and apnea fun and games.

Our Bath freediving club (Fri evenings with me and Dan) details are here

We always have at least one freediving instructor present and we also run monthly Try Freediving courses. Our Bath freediving club nights take place at Midsomer Norton Sports Centre near Bath and are open to anyone who has completed the Try Freediving course or higher – we run Try Freediving courses once a month, too, so beginners are more than welcome to join us those evenings. The pools we use are 25m long with depth ranging from 1-2 metres, perfect for both static and dynamic apnea. We also have plenty of underwater toys to make training lots of fun!

Our instructors work with complete beginners up to advanced freedivers so each session can be tailored to your requirements. The sessions last 2 hours (numbers permitting) with time either side to change and we will always provide you with a friendly buddy.

Join us at our weekly Poole freediving club nights where we practice static and dynamic training and apnea fun and games

Our Poole freediving club (Wed evenings with David) details are here

Our Poole freediving club nights take place at Rossmore Leisure Centre in Poole and are open to anyone who has completed the Try Freediving course or higher. The pool is 25m long with depth ranging from 1-2 metres, perfect for both static and dynamic apnea. We also have plenty of underwater toys to make training lots of fun and at least one freediving instructor present every session.

Our instructors work with complete beginners up to advanced freedivers so each session can be tailored to your requirements. The sessions last 2 hours with time either side to change and we will always provide you with a friendly buddy.

A small amount of freediving equipment is available for hire (not wetsuits) although we recommend you always bring your own equipment. The pool is around 26 degrees warm and you will need at least a triathlon wetsuit for practicing dynamic and at least a 3mm wetsuit for practicing static.

Learn new skills, meet new buddies and have fun at our club days throughout the season at Vobster.
